THE WEBSITE THAT DIDN’T MATCH THE COMPANY

Lineal helps legal teams and corporations work with large amounts of data — from collection and analysis to decision-making in complex cases. The company operates globally, supports clients 24/7 using a follow-the-sun model, and offers its own Amplify product suite within the Relativity platform. The old website did not meet any of these parameters: it consistently required technical support and did not convey the company’s scale or technological depth.

THE SCOPE THAT CHANGED IN THE PROCESS

Initially, it was about a redesign. But as soon as we started to understand what Lineal sells and to whom, it became clear that the old architecture could not accommodate the actual volume of services and products. The scope grew threefold: each service and each application received a separate page. All accumulated content was moved to a resource center with a link to search visibility and the project went through a full cycle — design, development, testing, production.

SEVEN APPLICATIONS, EACH WITH ITS OWN PAGE

Amplify is a set of seven tools within Relativity, each covering a separate task: Workflow automates document review processes, PrivFinder detects privileged materials, BotDetector filters out irrelevant data, and ChatCraft works with messenger traffic. Previously, all this existed somewhere between the lines on one page. Now each application has its own page with a specific usage scenario, real context, and a clear entry point for the right audience.

EIGHT LANGUAGES WITHOUT COMPROMISE

Lineal operates in regions with different legal systems and language environments, so the site was designed for multilingualism from the very beginning. In LegalTech, language is not just a UX consideration — it affects how precisely a client understands what they are buying and whether they trust it. Eight versions, including Chinese, and a single design system that does not crumble when localizing long legal terms and complex technical descriptions.

WHAT THE CLIENT RECEIVED

Lineal now has a site that matches the company it actually is. Redesigned architecture, individual pages for each service and Amplify application, a resource center built for search visibility, and eight language versions including Chinese. Content is managed and scaled without third-party support. A global enterprise finally has a global presence.
