While many gamers dream of testing video games, it’s far from an easy job. Game testing is one of the most intricate and demanding stages of development. Think of the countless scenarios, bugs, and edge cases that could emerge in just one game.

The Challenge

SnoopGame tasked us with redesigning their website, as the old one failed to showcase their services, experience, or portfolio. The minimalist design didn’t fit the vibrant gaming industry.

They wanted a new, gaming-themed site with custom characters, dedicated landing pages, and SEO optimization to support their upcoming marketing campaign. With the goal set and tasks clear, VALMAX was ready to level up their online presence.

Our UI/UX Design Quest

We centered the design around custom game characters, using a dark theme to create contrast and make the visuals stand out. The client’s vibrant green brand color shines against the dark backdrop, giving the site a more premium feel. To enhance the game-like vibe, we integrated their signature swirl patterns, adding a playful energy that makes the site feel immersive and engaging.

AI: No Child’s Play

We needed to create 18 unique characters — intricate, detailed illustrations that would normally take a skilled graphic designer days to complete. Leveraging AI technology was the obvious choice, though some manual refinement was required to perfect certain details.

All our characters are robot dogs, chosen for two reasons. First, the company’s name, Snoop, ties into its dog-themed logo. Second, robots represent the future, aligning with the tech-driven trends in both gaming and culture.

A few words about Back-end

We used WordPress with Gutenberg and Advanced Custom Fields Pro to create a flexible, easy-to-manage site. This setup lets admins build new pages using pre-existing sections, ideal for adapting to changing marketing needs.

At VALMAX, we avoid pre-made themes and visual editors, using minimal plugins, enhance security and optimize speed.

HubSpot CRM Integration

We integrated the website with HubSpot CRM, streamlining the lead management process. Now, every user inquiry automatically creates a deal in HubSpot, assigned to a specific sales manager. Beyond contact details, we also track important data like the user’s source, the pages they visited, and other key insights to support a more informed sales strategy.

Game Over: You Win a New Project

A few months after completing the project, the client returned to us for a new challenge — this time to build a site for their holding company, Snoop Team. And later, they came back for a third website, for a new business.
